A drop of a few hundred places in the last couple of weeks. Considering I’m not really trying for speed at the moment as that’s not where my training is at, then this is not really a concern. My snuffly nose is however a concern so I just need to shake off this little cold please.
No races of any significance since the last update so not much to see here!
Another sight fall in my overall position the week but at the same time a climb of a whole 5 places in my age group. That’s fine.
A fall of a hundred or so places in the main ladder this week. No great change really.
Now my result from the Poppy 10k has been factored in, I’ve arrived at my best ever Handicap score of a fraction under 14.0.
This hasn’t however been reflected in a best ever ranking position, but I have at least improved by over 6,000 places. Which is nice.
A very small drop in the week leading up to the Poppy run. Looking forward to seeing how much things change when that brilliant 10k is factored in.
A drop of about 800 places in the past week or so. Fair enough considering I haven’t raced in that time. I think I need a sub 50 minute 10k next week in the Poppy 10k in Bexhill-on-Sea to improve. After that there’ll be a few weeks before training for the Reading Half Marathon starts so I might give my Parkrun PB a proper go.
Very little to shout about recently here, but given the slightly lesser performances recently that’s perfectly fine.
Not a great deal of change in the past month so a fall of around a thousand places will have to do.
Occasionally the Run Britain Rankings people do an update really soon after another, and last week was one of those times with a whole two days between updates. However, on the plus side I had a 24:19 at Jersey Parkrun #97 between those updates, so I managed to climb about 1,500 places which was nice.
